Women who deal in the camel meat business woke up to a shock after the slaughterhouse located in the Maisha Bora area was demolished overnight. Addressing journalists, the women said they do not know where they will take the camels that had already been bought for slaughter. They also said they have no confidence in moving to the abattoir built in the LMD area, fearing for their safety following a series of killings. They also claimed that the new area has no designated place for slaughtering camels, and are calling on Governor Guyo to address the matter.
