The Social Scientist's Case for Shabbat Dr. Jonathan Haidt, a renowned psychologist at NYU and global thought leader, is known for his insightful books that address the challenges of our modern world, especially those affecting young people. His latest NYT bestseller, "The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood Is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness", published earlier this year, explores the dramatic rise in anxiety among Gen Z and how smartphones and social media have fueled a mental health crisis in our children.
