My Newest Version Of The Irish Girl

The Irish Girl – an original Celtic folk rock song with traditional lyrics and my own music, which I’ve sung since the late 1980s. A heartfelt indie folk rock ballad about lost love in 18th century London. The lyrics are traditional, of which there are many variations…but this one is my favorite. The music is mine, the newest version of a song I've been singing since the late 1980s. This new version brings the song back with a music video created with Neural Frames in Berlin – set in 18th century London on the banks of the Thames, where a gallant lad encounters a lovely Irish maiden beset with sadness after losing her gentleman beau, and their destinies become intertwined. If you love Celtic folk rock songs, traditional Irish music and heartfelt original music, I hope this one stays with you. Lyrics traditional, music my own. Thanks so much for watching and listening – feedback and constructive criticism are always appreciated.
