Oxstalls XC schooling with Aaddeey, The Lion Strikes and Menin Gate! Aaddeey starts off the video with an absolutely brilliant performance, not looking at anything! He followed this up with a 27 dressage and double clear for 1st at his first event, and then went on to crack out another 27 dressage and XC clear at the eventing Champs a few weeks later. Menin Gate is up next in the video, and he’s my baby so this was actually the first time Lauren had ever cross country schooled him! It was actually quite fun playing the owner game and watching Lauren ride him! He is also absolutely devastatingly looking for his next human. He’s my unicorn but I already had him longer than planned because of how much time I had off last year. So please form an orderly queue. He can also be tried on Saturday. The Lion Strikes is always just beyond cool and tackles everything we ever point him at. I honestly can’t believe him some days. He trained over some massive combinations that made the show jumper in me wee myself, and he didn’t bat an eyelid. Lion is looking for the best home possible, where he can take a new rider up the levels. He’s a double clear machine and has his Novice MERs already. We will be campaigning him for Cornbury next year and we’re in absolutely no rush to sell.
