Experience an intense low-level strike mission in DCS World as two F-4 Phantom II aircraft launch from an airbase in Syria for a dangerous attack deep inside hostile territory. Armed with MK-83 AIR bombs, the two Phantoms are tasked with striking an enemy military complex protected by an SA-2 surface-to-air missile system. The mission begins with both F-4 Phantoms taking off one after the other before heading toward enemy territory. To avoid detection by the SA-2 radar positioned within the target complex, the aircraft descend to extremely low altitude, following the contours of the terrain as they race across the Syrian landscape. Flying fast and low, the Phantoms approach the heavily defended target while staying as close to the ground as possible. As they reach the objective, the two aircraft split their attack roles. One Phantom engages the enemy air defense position, targeting the threat posed by the SA-2 system. Meanwhile, the second F-4 presses on with its bombing run, releasing MK-83 AIR bombs against rows of parked military vehicles and the complex's command facilities. Powerful explosions erupt across the target area as the strike hits its objectives, while the pilots evade AAA fire. With the attack complete, both Phantoms regroup and begin their low-level flight back toward friendly territory. They remain close to the terrain as they escape the hostile air defense zone, finally climbing to a safer altitude once clear of enemy territory. The aircraft then head back toward their respective destinations. One Phantom returns to its original airbase and performs a normal landing, while the second diverts to an alternate airfield to complete its recovery.
