Your body has been waiting all day for this. This long, slow Yoga Nidra is designed for the nights when stress has settled into your shoulders, your chest feels tight, and your mind needs more than just sleep — it needs repair. Lie down, close your eyes, and let a calm, soothing voice guide you through a full rotation of awareness, a slow countdown of the breath from sixty one, and a deep healing visualization: a moonlit beach where every wave carries in restoration and carries out the weight of the day. You will journey through your body as a healing light moves from head to toe, softening everything it touches, while your body does what it does best every night — mend, renew, and restore. There is nothing to fix and nothing to force. Healing happens in the dark, in the quiet, while you rest. Just lie still, breathe softly, and let the night do the work. Tonight's journey: A welcome for the tired body: permission to stop being strong and simply rest Settling into Savasana and three slow breaths that begin to dissolve the day Sankalpa — planting the intention: my body rests, and my body heals A full rotation of awareness through every part of the body Breath awareness and counting down from sixty one, like stones dropped into still water The practice of opposites — heaviness and lightness, warmth and coolness, tension and release The moonlit beach — waves of glowing blue carrying healing in and carrying weight out The healing tide within — luminous water flowing through the places that ache A healing light scan from head to toe, softening every muscle it touches A second, slower journey through the body as a final goodnight Gratitude for three good things — ending the day in thanks A return to your Sankalpa, then my voice grows quiet and hands you to the soft music, which keeps watch for fifty minutes as you drift into deep, healing sleep Best experienced lying down in a dark, quiet room with eyes closed. Headphones recommended. If you fall asleep before the end, that means it worked. If this practice helps you rest and heal tonight, please subscribe for new Yoga Nidra journeys every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, and tell us in the comments what your body is letting go of.
