swcwalks, swcwalk300, Penshurst Circular via Bough Beech. 10/9/26

Another Wealden Wonder! This one being 10.3 miles around the Low Weald village of Penshurst, in the Eden Valley. It was undertaken on a breezy afternoon (with some impact on commentary), with sunny intervals. it includes all the Wealden delights of pastures (not too many cattle today!), woodland and a wonderful lunchtime stop, but there's also a consistent hum of jet-noise and one or two dicey lanes to contend with. The paths were very decent today and the threat of rain didn't materialise. P.S. Unsure why I called the reservoir 'Bough', as in Frank (the former commentator), when it's spelt as in a tree-branch? Once again, I mixed up the deer; these were Fallow, not Roe.
