Grace Falls-{A Hidden Waterfall In The Odessa Gorge}-Rocky Mountain National Park-Solo Day Hike

July 8, 2026-Grace Falls hidden in the Odessa Gorge Rocky Mountain National Park. This hike has been on my bucket list for 3 years. I have studied the route and was comfortable with exploring it. I took the climbers route that leads to the summit of The Little Matterhorn, from Lake Helene, and veered off once I reached the boulder field. Boulder fields, my least favorite terrain when hiking. I made sure I was sure footed with every step. It was magnificent to stand below Grace Falls. Most people can only see her at a far distance from above. This hike requires GPS and navigation skills. I'm an average hiker with a lot of back country experience. 7 miles and 1600 feet of elevation gain. Trail condition were great, except crossing the boulder field.
