Diablo Lake ~ Boat and Hike (Day Trip in the North Cascades)

We began the adventure by taking the half-hour Diablo Lake Ferry ride from the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center up the Skagit River to the base of Ross Lake Dam. We then hiked 4 miles back to the Learning Center on the Diablo Lake Trail. What a beautiful and refreshing day!
