Emerald Imperium 1.3.1 (Dragon Monotype) - All Major Trainer Battles

Playlist of my Emerald Imperium runs:    • Emerald Imperium   In my last video, I said that the remaining runs would be easy. I was so wrong. The early game for this was the most brutal! The RNG had to be extraordinary, I needed crits and whatnot. Alolan Exeggcutor was the MVP for the early game because of being fully evolved. This was another run where DexNav hunting for egg moves was essential. A-Exeggutor with Curse and Harvest/Sitrus Berry strats was a lifesaver. Certain battles in the early game that might look easy, still required great RNG. Once mons started evolving and I got access to more Dragon-types, the run became a little easier. The turning point was Flannery. She was very easy because of getting lucky with Kingdra sweeping with Crit Dragon Pulse OHKOs after setting up Agility and Focus Energy. That strategy was great in other battles. After Flannery, the run became significantly easier, being almost a joke with certain battles. I was repeating myself from recent runs through mons like Raging Bolt and Baxcalibur. So much so that they had to be in the E4. I really wanted Kommo-o on the team as it was an amazing sweeper. But the E4 just so happened to have crazy coverage against it. I thought about using Walking Wake and Gouging Fire along with Raging Bolt. A gimmicky trio, but I prefer using mons that were major players in the run up to that point. If I absolutely had to use those mons, then I would have. There wasn't a late-game Dragon-type after Raging Bolt that I felt the need to use. Speaking of late-game, I just realized that I didn't use any Mega Evolutions! That kind of speaks volumes of the strong roster...when you get access to them. The early game is ridiculous. Now I won't say that the remaining runs will be a breeze. I could be wrong. I have Bug, Fighting, Ground, Ghost, and Poison remaining. The music's from Double Dragon on Neo Geo CD.
