RS80 The Audi Goes to Boost School! | RS3 Engine Swap Into My Audi 80

The RS80 build takes another step forward… although not without a fight In this episode I finally get back onto the Audi 80 and start dealing with the flywheel setup, before attempting to get the 2.5 TFSI RS3 engine into the car. As usual, absolutely nothing wants to just bolt together nicely. The flywheel is nearly where I need it, the engine does eventually make its way into the bay, and I get a much better idea of what is going to need changing before this thing can actually sit where it belongs. Still plenty to work out, but seeing the five-cylinder sitting in the Audi 80 bay makes all the messing around worth it. This is the ongoing RS80 project — an Audi 80 Quattro being built around a 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder, with plenty of fabrication, questionable decisions and eventually a healthy amount of boost.
