Euro Nymphing: Spring in the Pocono Mountains, PA

Had an fantastic day euro nymphing on a freestone stream in PA’s Pocono Mountains. A first time for me on this beautiful stream and it didn’t disappoint. About 2O large browns to net and not one fish under 14 inches, including an awesome 22 inch beast. Saw bugs hatching all day. Olives in the morning, then Hendricksons, and in the late afternoon armies of Caddis. The flies of the day were a size 18 Stupid Simple Pheasant Tail, a size 16 blue krystal flash perdigon, and a size 14 Blowtorch. Tight lines and enjoy! Cory #poconos #euronymphing #blowtorch
