Canada has built a flying machine that is shocking the world. The Horizon Cavorite X7, built by Horizon Aircraft in Ontario, takes off straight up with no runway, flies 800 km, reaches 450 km/h, and carries a pilot plus six passengers. It also refills its own batteries in flight, so it never runs out of charge. It even flew at -30°C, when other electric aircraft were stuck on the ground.
In this video, we count down 8 of the most amazing flying inventions in the world right now: the Volonaut Airbike, the Alef Model A flying car, the XPENG Aridge land aircraft carrier, the Beta Alia electric plane, the Omni hoverboard, the Gravity Industries jet suit, and the Joby S4 air taxi. Which one is number one? Watch to the end to find out.
Canada’s new aircraft is testing the limits of flight with a unique design that blends glider efficiency and jet power.
This video examines the latest innovative aviation technology, focusing on a craft that utilizes glider-like wings paired with jet engines featuring retractable fans. We break down the engineering choices behind this design and what they mean for the future of flight efficiency and performance. It is a look at how specific modifications can alter flight characteristics for modern pilots.
Beyond the primary build, we also take a look at a daring biplane stunt that showcases the high-level skills currently found within the aviation industry. Whether you are interested in experimental engineering or the history of aerobatic maneuvers, this overview highlights the tangible progress being made in the field.
