A gentle breathwork practice inviting you to notice your breath, body, thoughts and feelings without judgement.
Settle into stillness, listen to the birdsong and discover what happens when nothing needs to be changed.
This calming practice begins by inviting you to get comfortable and make any small adjustments your body needs. From there, attention gently moves towards the breath — not trying to control it or breathe in a particular way, but simply noticing how the breath enters and leaves your body.
You are guided to become aware of the movement of your chest, ribs and belly, before noticing other sensations and feelings that may be present.
Rather than asking you to quieten your thoughts, this practice offers another possibility: noticing whatever you have brought with you from your day. Thoughts about what has happened, things still to do, feelings and memories can all be acknowledged without judgement.
The invitation is simply to meet yourself where you are.
The practice then moves into a period of silence, followed by gentle reflection on what that silence felt like — whether it seemed long or short, busy or spacious.
If this practice gave you a moment of calm today, you're warmly invited to return whenever you need another quiet space to notice, breathe and simply be.
