Is This the Best Way to Beat Lagos Traffic? 🇳🇬 Nigerian Holiday Diaries

What started as a simple stroll around the Ikorodu Ferry Terminal in Lagos turned into something I wasn’t expecting — my first ferry ride in Nigeria! 🇳🇬⛴️ Drey and I were just spending some time by the water when one of the ferry drivers suggested we take a ride. Of course, I couldn’t say no to a new adventure! 😂 And I’m glad I didn’t, because I enjoyed every second of it. Being on the water also made me understand why ferries can be such a great option for people who live on the Lagos mainland but work on the island. Instead of spending hours driving and risking getting stuck in Lagos traffic, travelling by water can offer a completely different way of getting around the city. After our little adventure on the water, there was only one thing left to do… find a local spot and get some good food! 😋 Sometimes the best experiences are the ones you never planned.
