The Goodbye I Wasn’t Ready For… Leaving My Son in Nigeria 💔 || From Europe to Nigeria🇳🇱🇳🇬

This is the moment I knew was coming, but I still wasn’t completely ready for it. 💔 Today is truly my last day with Dayo before I leave Nigeria and return to the Netherlands. And my emotions are everywhere. Part of me is sad knowing that I have to leave my son behind, but another part of me is genuinely excited for him. Every time I see him at school, I can see him becoming more comfortable, making friends and finding his place in this new chapter of his life. ❤️🇳🇬 For our final day together, I wanted us to simply enjoy each other. This time we finally convinced Dayo to forget about the pizza 😂 and took him out for some REAL food — and thankfully, he loved it! We spent some beautiful family time together with Uncle Drey, Auntie Helen and her daughter, who is actually in the same class as Dayo. Of course, we couldn't finish our day without one last trip to the mall. We laughed, ate, talked and made the most of every moment we had left together. But eventually, the moment I had been trying not to think about arrived… It was time to take Dayo back and say goodbye. 💔 This journey has been bigger than I ever expected, and now a new chapter begins — for Dayo in Nigeria and for me back home in the Netherlands.
