Punjab has witnessed a troubling pattern of cases involving IELTS, marriage and immigration-related fraud. Yet, despite the devastating consequences reported by affected families, the issue has received limited sustained public attention.
In this episode of Ekam Nyaay Dialogue, we discuss a tragedy that has affected families across Punjab and beyond.
According to figures and reports cited in the public domain and attributed to the Ministry of External Affairs, Indians continue to face serious consequences in cases involving immigration and fraudulent overseas arrangements. Reports have also highlighted deaths and suicides of Indian men in circumstances that families have connected to relationship, marriage and immigration disputes.
But behind every statistic is a family.
