Thanks for watching this clip on these neat little INCO GE steeple cab locomotives. Hard to believe that these have been gone since 2000, 25 years ago.
All the clips were filmed in the Greater Sudbury Ontario area, were the Trans Canada Highway crosses the INCO line. The junction is were the line splits. To the right, Frood mine is a few miles out. To the left, just out of sight is were the INCO picks up loads dropped off by the CP shuttle from the mine at Levack. The CP picks up the loads at the interchange at Levack, after the INCO electrics bring the loads up the hill out of town.
All three locomotives in these clips were purchased new from GE.
112 is 100ton, built 5/1938
124 is 85ton, built 3/1940
119 is 100ton, built 4/1953
