And the answers got worse. Mine did too. There are days I get a better answer out of a blank chat that knows nothing about me than out of the setup I spent months building, and that gap is getting wider as the models improve, not smaller. Here is why. You got sharper and your context did not. You learned things, you changed your mind, you started asking better questions, and the AI is still answering the person you were the day you set it up. It will keep doing that confidently until you go in and take things out. So the fix is not more context, and it is not a better model. The part of this that actually gets better the longer you do it is you. What you know about your own work is the thing that catches the output when it is wrong. AI gave me five recommendations while I was building something this week and every one of them was backwards. I only caught it because I knew what I was building. Then take the thing you got right and capture it into something that runs the same way every time. Let AI help you build it, but what you walk away holding should be code, not a paragraph it has to reinterpret on every release. None of this needs you to be technical.
