How to Test Corals' Resistance to Global Warming | Tara Coral #3

How do you measure the resilience of corals? In this episode, set on Walis Island – the second scientific site of the Tara Coral expedition in Papua New Guinea – discover the CBASS protocol, a sort of stress test for corals. 🪸 Scientists Hannah Mans (University of Konstanz / Germany) and Sylvain Agostini (IRD / New Caledonia) explain how to take small samples of coral to measure this resilience inside four tanks set up on Tara’s aft deck.
