This is the fourth (out of five) improvisation that I recorded in my last recording session.
Almost two months ago I had the opportunity to look at sea for hours - watching the water flutter, the light from the moon and from other light sources reflecting, drawing conical pathways across the surface. This is the reason why I used the word "triangles" in the name - because when a cone is laying flat on a surface if viewed from above it has the shape of a triangle.
The other reason why I used this word is because I wanted to show the mathematical projection and generation of this nonexistent shore made up of broken pieces of glass that are refracting the light, changing its way, and of dreams weaved together, intertwining with the whole, keeping it stable.
I imagined myself walking along this shore - witnessing the beauty of the juxtaposition between the glass that changes the light's path, in turn creating different shapes and figures, and the water which guides the light towards me in the shape of triangles.
And mesmerized by the geometrical relations I stand in awe, thinking about the beauty of it all, taking it in.
No matter how vividly I can imagine it it's still nonexistent.
