The world is waking up. You're finally done.
Laundry's in. You've had your shower. Somewhere behind you the house is starting to stir, cars are starting to move outside, and at last there's a moment that belongs to you.
This is supposed to be your free time. But "I'm back there again tonight" is already sitting somewhere in the back of your head. Relief and dread at the same time. One or the other would have been easier.
And some days there's the bigger question — how long am I going to keep doing this? You don't have to answer that right now. Nobody should have to work through something like that on no sleep.
While everyone else was asleep, you were the one keeping things running. By morning, nobody can see that. It still happened.
The rest of the world gets to wake up to an ordinary morning because someone was there through the night. That was you. Now go get some rest.
【About the sound】
・Koto and shakuhachi — traditional Japanese instruments, nothing electronic
・Every track sits between 50 and 60 BPM, close to a resting heart rate
・Mixed with earphones in mind: no deep bass pressing on your ears, no sound jumping between left and right, and the volume never changes from start to finish
・No vocals, no percussion, nothing that will pull you back awake
【About the screen】
The image darkens slowly over the course of this video. By the time you're drifting off, the screen gives off almost no light — because light is the last thing you need when you're trying to sleep in the morning.
The lights go out one by one. But someone out there is still awake, same as you.
【About the visuals】
The scenery here was created with AI. It's an imagined place, not a real location in Japan.
【About this channel】
This channel is created and supervised by an HSP counselor (HSP = Highly Sensitive Person), who is also the author of a book on living with high sensitivity.
Most music is written to be noticed. Ours is written to be lived in. Every track is designed with sound-sensitive listeners in mind — avoiding abrupt changes, harsh frequencies, and dense walls of sound, so the music can stay quietly beside you rather than compete for your attention.
