AAPSU said the alleged incident would not be tolerated and warned that any attempt to dominate or undermine the rights and interests of the indigenous people of Arunachal Pradesh would be strongly opposed.
Addressing the issue, AAPSU stated that the Chakma and Hajong communities had been provided shelter, food and support in Arunachal Pradesh, but alleged that some individuals were now attempting to โdominateโ the indigenous population.
โWe have given them shelter and food, and now they are trying to dominate us. This will not be entertained. AAPSU will never tolerate this,โ the studentsโ body said.
The union reiterated that it would continue to safeguard the interests and rights of the indigenous people of the state and called for strict action against those found responsible for the alleged attack.
