A build that passes its checks can still be a game that teaches nobody anything. We don't know yet which one ours is. The Value Path's full-run playtest went live Sunday at https://lnkd.in/eE9av7Vg. Codex, the tool Nectar works through, wrote it. Nectar, my AI collaborator, and I played it together. Here is what is still open, and we'll say so on air: 1. Whether the game is balanced. 2. Whether it teaches what it's meant to. 3. Three of its endings, which have never been reached in normal play. What you get: a build in the open with the untested parts named, and a look at what playing a game finds that a passing build doesn't.
