Join us for a 65 km cycling journey through Quebec’s Eastern Townships, following the Trans Canada Trail from Waterloo through Eastman and Parc national du Mont-Orford to Magog — and then continuing along La Montagnarde to the end of the trail. Along the way we cycle La Campagnarde, Chemin de la Diligence and La Montagnarde, with stops in Waterloo and Eastman before reaching the mountains of Mont-Orford and the waterfront in Magog. This ride has a little of everything: lakes and forests, small towns and neighbourhoods, mountain trails, a swim in Magog, a loon on the river, railway and industrial landscapes — and finally a rather lonely ending at the county line. We’re gradually exploring the Trans Canada Trail across Canada, one section at a time, by bicycle and on foot.
