Jackie Kennedy's Marriage To Onassis Was NEVER What America Thought. His WILL Proves It

Jackie Kennedy's Marriage To Onassis Was NEVER What America Thought. His WILL Proves It The official story fits in one sentence. In October 1968, the widow of an American president married a Greek shipowner on a private island and sailed out of the country's life. A Swedish front page asked how she could. Another paper wrote that America had lost a saint. But the paperwork tells a harder story than the headlines did. A marriage contract reportedly worked out before the vows. The Secret Service protection she gave up by marrying again. A will her husband wrote by hand on a flight from Acapulco, leaving her an income, not a fortune. A daughter who paid her to walk away. And a diamond of just over forty carats that spent most of its life in a bank vault, until the day it went under the gavel to a buyer whose name the public never learned. It started with a cabin on a yacht called Ithaca.
