Narottama Dāsa Ṭhākura’s Hari Hari Kabe Mora Hoibe Su-Dina is a prayer for a day that has not yet come — the blessed day when love for Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa will awaken so deeply that singing Their names becomes an overwhelming expression of devotion.
This Appalachian Sessions interpretation keeps that yearning intimate and human. Rather than celebrating a spiritual attainment already achieved, the song gives voice to someone still waiting, still longing, still calling out. The repeated cry of “Rādhikā! Govinda!” carries the hope of a heart that wishes to be transformed by divine love.
As the prayer unfolds, Narottama turns to the great devotees of Vraja — Rūpa, Sanātana, Raghunātha Dāsa, Śrī Jīva, Lalitā, Viśākhā, Śrīdāma, and Subala — begging each for mercy. He asks for nothing less than the fulfillment of his deepest spiritual longing, yet approaches it entirely through humility and dependence upon their grace.
A song about longing becoming prayer, and prayer becoming hope.

Hari Hari Kabe Mora Hoibe Su-Dina – The Blessed Day
VERSE 1
Hari, Hari, when will that blessed day be mine?
When will I serve Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa,
Overcome by love divine?
VERSE 2
With sweet instruments around me,
I will sing a tender strain,
Joyfully I’ll sing Their beauty,
Joyfully I’ll sing Their qualities and names.
REFRAIN
Rādhikā! Govinda!
Rādhikā! Govinda!
I will call Your names aloud,
Till the tears fall from my eyes
And my whole body is wet with tears.
VERSE 3
Rūpa, Sanātana,
Show your mercy now to me.
Raghunātha Dāsa,
Śrī Jīva, my life and soul,
Show your mercy now to me.
VERSE 4
Lalitā and Viśākhā,
Show your mercy now to me.
Śrīdāma and Subala,
And all Kṛṣṇa’s loving friends,
Show your mercy now to me.
FINAL REFRAIN
Rādhikā! Govinda!
Rādhikā! Govinda!
I will call Your names aloud,
Till the tears fall from my eyes
And my whole body is wet with tears.
OUTRO
All of you together,
Please be merciful to me.
Fulfill this longing in my heart—
This is Narottama Dāsa’s prayer,
Forever his prayer.
