What If We're Living in a Simulation?

In 2003, a philosopher at Oxford published a nine-page paper. It made one observation and drew one conclusion. The conclusion was that you are almost certainly not real in the way you think you are. That paper has not gone away. It has gotten stronger every year since. This video follows the simulation argument from its origins through the physics that might confirm it — the GZK limit, the Wheeler-DeWitt equation, quantum mechanics, the Planck scale — and lands somewhere most people skip past too quickly.
