Finding a New Mother For a Rescued Infant | Monkey Life Season 8 Episode 2

After a tense police rescue, the veterinary team must examine two neglected marmosets, only to discover a heartbreaking reality: the pregnant female has a broken jaw, and the male is suffering from extreme nutritional bone disease. Over at the chimpanzee enclosures, a tense power struggle is brewing as alpha male Hananya faces a potential coup from his sneaky second-in-command, Tiko. In the nursery, hand-reared woolly monkey Bueno Jr. finally meets his troop after being rejected by his mother at birth. Plus, watch the massive orangutans get tricked into a 40-foot workout for their breakfast, and see the primate care team attempt the impossible task of weighing 82 hyperactive capuchin monkeys! Monkey Life follows the work of Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre with nail-biting rescue and rehabilitation stories. Whilst there are primates in need, Dr. Alison Cronin, Jeremy Keeling and their dedicated team continue to fight the illegal trade in primates and give those rescued a safe haven for the rest of their lives.
