Reviving Wadi Bayhan: Climate-Resilient Irrigation Infrastructure Restores Farmland in Shabwah

After nearly seven years of devastating drought and destructive, uncontrolled flash floods, the agricultural heart of Wadi Bayhan is beating once again. With the construction of a 70-metre diversion wall and rehabilitating of four major irrigation canals, the project has successfully restored vital water access to 800 hectares of fertile farmland.
