Lakewood, OH - Broken/Failed Federal Signal EOWS 612 - 2/3/18 (Read Describtion)

Basic Information: Siren: Federal Signal EOWS 612 Town: Lakewood, OH System: N/A Tested: Every Saturday at 12:00 (last Saturday Alert and other Saturdays Westminster Chime) Location: Lakewood, OH Fire Department #1/ Headquarters Uses: Tornado Siren Cycles: Westminster Chime and Alert (Last Saturday of the Month) Well well well, what do we have hear? A very Broken EOWS 612 is what we have here. I came here to flim my first every EOWS and I cant say I'm disapointed because this test was a little humorous. As you can clealy hear at the very start of the video, there is a distinct popping noise and that was this siren. So let me back this story up okay. Last Monday I was at Basketball and hurt my ankel. It was feeling better on Friday, but I twisted it again and I disided to take of Skiing this week. I was not sure if we would make it or not because we were buying tickets for an event and sometimes the website crashes. It did not crash and we had time to make it. I was exite and just when I got my hopes up.... pop pop pop pop goes the EOWS. You might be able to hear my laughing! Anyways, I stopped recording and we sat some more and it still rotates VERY SLOWLY! I have learned my leason and I hope you do to, don't record sirens in Lakewood. trust me it will fail like this.
