Everything was going perfectly. Bass was sitting in the pocket. Guitar was clean. Keys had space. Horns were hitting exactly where they should. Then somebody made a terrible mistake: “Hey man… maybe calm it down.” 😐 WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT TO THE DRUMMER?! 😂🥁🔥 SOMEBODY TOLD THE DRUMMER TO CALM DOWN is a Funk-Rock / Hip-Hop / EDM experiment in what happens when one innocent suggestion causes a perfectly respectable groove to completely lose control. At first, it’s just one extra drum fill. Then another. Then the hi-hat opens. The toms start talking. The kick drum develops an attitude. And suddenly the bass player is looking around like: “You fixing this?” “I DON’T KNOW HOW!” 😂 Meanwhile, the drummer is having the greatest night of his life. Kick. Snare. Tom. Crash. Four limbs. Apparently playing eight instruments simultaneously. The band tries reasoning with him. That doesn’t work. They try taking away drums. Nobody knows which ones to take because… HE’S USING ALL OF THEM. 😂🔥 Eventually everybody agrees to reset. “Everybody breathe.” “Drummer… nice and easy.” Soft rimshot. “See?” “Growth. Maturity. Communication.” Two seconds later… 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁💥 “YOU LIED!” And that’s when the entire record detonates. The funk turns into rock. The rock crashes into EDM. The bass player gives up resisting. The guitarist decides: “If we die, we die then.” And somewhere in the chaos, everybody realizes something: Wait… THIS IS ACTUALLY FIRE. 🔥😂 No struggle story. No enemies. No inspirational speech. No deep lesson.
