Do you ever feel like nothing is necessarily terribly wrong...there’s just too much of EVERYTHING? ☕❤️ If you’re trying to keep up with life while realizing your energy isn’t unlimited, pull up a chair. I’m right there with you. In today’s video, I Can’t Keep Doing Everything Like I Used To, I’m talking honestly about feeling overwhelmed—not because my life is bad, but because there’s simply a lot happening at once. I have a new job. My daughter is getting married. There are financial stresses, family responsibilities, things I want to accomplish, and all the normal demands of everyday life. Some of those things are wonderful. Some are stressful. But I’m realizing something I haven’t always wanted to admit: Good things take energy too. At 63, there are actually some parts of life I handle better than I did when I was younger. I have more experience, more perspective, and a much better understanding of what really matters. But physically? My body occasionally sends me a strongly worded memo. 😂 I’m a 63-year-old teacher, mom of six (four adopted), divorced, and navigating autoimmune disease, weight struggles, changing seasons, and a body that sometimes reminds me it has opinions about my schedule. I’m learning that rest can’t always be whatever I squeeze in after everything else is finished—because everything else is NEVER finished. Maybe the question isn’t simply, “Can I fit this in?” Maybe it’s, “What will it cost me to fit this in?” Here at Coffee, Chaos and Grace, we talk honestly about life as it really is—the good, the difficult, the funny, and everything we’re still figuring out along the way. So tell me in the comments: Are you feeling overwhelmed right now? What could you take off your plate—or what are you giving more energy to than it deserves? If this conversation resonates with you, please like this video, subscribe to Coffee, Chaos and Grace, and share your story in the comments. You never know when something you share might make someone else at our coffee table feel a little less alone. I don’t want a smaller life. I just want to stop exhausting myself trying to have a full one. There’s always room for one more at our coffee table. ☕ #FeelingOverwhelmed #LifeAfter60 #CoffeeChaosAndGrace
