Blonay-Chamby Railway ~ 25th July 2026 (Part 2)

Part 2 of my mid-afternoon visit to the Blonay-Chamby Railway on 25th July 2026. This video focuses on the Museum at Chaulin Station, featuring the following steam locomotives: 1913-built Schweizerische Locomotiv & Maschinen-Fabrik, Winterhur 2-6-0RT (Works No. 2317) No. B.F.D. 3. 1890-built Societe Alacienne De Constructions Mecaniques, Grafenstaden 0-6-0T (Works No. 4172) No. 5. 1912-built Schweizerische Locomotiv & Maschinen-Fabrik, Winterhur (Works No. 2299) 0-6-6-0 Steam Rotary Snow Plough No. 1052. Also, inside the Workshop, was another narrow-gauge steam locomotive under restoration; whilst outside the museum was a 4w diesel locomotive. After visiting the museum, we took a ride aboard Tramcar No. 28 to Chamby Station, where our Railtrail Tours' group started their lengthy train journey back to Bern. NOTE: I've made a reference to Dustin the Snow Plough Engine from Thomas & Friends in this video as Steam Rotary Snow Plough No. 1052 bears some resemblance to him.
