"WE’RE READY TO PROTECT SENATOR DULLO” – ISIOLO RESIDENTS REACT TO RALLY SHOOTING

Some residents of Isiolo County have condemned the attack on a rally organized by Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo in Kinna, where several shots were fired into the air while Senator Dullo was on her way to campaign for Tubi Mohamed Tubi ahead of the by-election in South Isiolo Constituency. Speaking to journalists, the residents urged the security agencies to track down and apprehend those behind the attack, claiming that the assailants had targeted Senator Dullo. They described it as shameful to see a leader of her stature attacked. They also lamented the rising insecurity incidents being reported in the constituency and called for detailed investigations. The residents urged Senator Dullo not to be intimidated by those behind the attack. Women in the area added that such acts constitute gender-based violence, aimed at undermining the participation of women in politics, and advised opponents to wait until 2027. #isiolocountynews #isiolocounty #isiolo #trending #youtubeshorts #kamchutv #williamruto #kipchumbamurkomen #kithurekindiki #fatumadullo
