DIY Christmas Decorations 🎄 Our First Try at Painting, Glitter & Diamante! | Digital Tea Room

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Digital Tea Room! Today at the workbench, we’re trying something new: painting Christmas decorations for the Great Library. We bought a set of four ready-to-paint decoration blanks and chose our two favourites—a Christmas pudding and a little festive cup. With paint, glitter and a spare length of diamante chain, we gave them our own sparkling finish. This is our first attempt, and we’re sharing the fiddly bits as well as the finished results. From thirsty decoration blanks that needed five or six coats of paint to a cocktail stick that earned its place at the workbench, there were plenty of lessons along the way. If we did it again, we’d seal the blanks before painting. But that’s what we’re here for: learning as we grow.
