The Anniversary Call: Susie Yeager and David Masterson | The FBI Files | S5 E11

A seven-year-old vanishes from a Montana tent. No witnesses. No clues. And then, a phone rings with a detail only the kidnapper could know. Step inside a relentless FBI hunt that stretched from dew-traced footprints at Headwaters State Park to a chilling voice that returned exactly one year later. Watch how early criminal profiling reshaped the investigation, why a prior unsolved campground killing suddenly mattered, and how a mother’s composure on the phone held the key to keeping a stranger talking. From a tapped ranch line to a voice lineup and a motel alias, every turn raises new questions about control, deception, and the truth drugs that didn’t deliver the truth. This episode peels back the methods, the misdirection, and the moment that finally cracked the case open. The ending is not what anyone expected. Watch to see how the pieces fit together and why timing mattered more than anything. Watch now to follow the calls, the clues, and the confession that changed everything. #FBIFiles #TrueCrime #SusieYeager #Montana #CriminalProfiling #ColdCase #FBI
