श्रीमद्भागवत महापुराण के आठवें स्कन्ध का यह पावन प्रसंग दैत्यराज बलि के सत्य, त्याग और अटूट वचनबद्धता के अनुपम आदर्श को उजागर करता है। जब भगवान वामन ने राजा बलि से केवल तीन पग भूमि की याचना की, तब कुलगुरु शुक्राचार्य ने बलि को सचेत करते हुए दान का संकल्प लेने से रोका और बताया कि यह बटुक साक्षात भगवान विष्णु हैं। गुरु के निषेध के उपरान्त भी राजा बलि ने असत्य और वचन-भंग के दोष से बचने के लिए अपने दिए वचन का दृढ़तापूर्वक पालन किया और तीन पग भूमि दान करने का संकल्प ले लिया। यह व्याख्यान सत्यनिष्ठा, गुरु-आज्ञा और ईश्वर-समर्पण के गूढ़ दार्शनिक रहस्यों पर प्रकाश डालता है। यह चर्चा पूर्णतः श्रीमद्भागवत महापुराण के दार्शनिक और आध्यात्मिक सिद्धांतों पर आधारित है। From the Eighth Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, this sacred narrative illustrates the profound commitment to truth, charity, and righteousness demonstrated by King Bali. When the young Brahmachari Vamana requested merely three paces of land, Bali's preceptor, Sage Shukracharya, recognized the divine form of Lord Vishnu and urged the king to retract his offer. Despite the stern warnings of his Guru, King Bali steadfastly chose to honor his word, placing adherence to truth and divine surrender above worldly wealth, kingdom, and life itself. This discourse examines the spiritual significance of unconditional commitment, devotion, and supreme surrender. Srimad Bhagavatam, composed by Sage Vedavyasa, is considered the crown jewel of Puranic literature, revealing the highest truth of Devotion (Bhakti), Divine Leela, and Ultimate Knowledge (Jnana).
