For a long time, I thought relationships came with a blueprint. You meet someone. You fall in love. You get married. You move in together. Your merge your lives. You make decisions together. Maybe you have children. You build a family. And somewhere along the way you learn what it means to be a "good partner". But what if you stopped for a moment and asked: What do I actually want? Not what makes sense to everyone else. Not what my family did. Not what I saw in movies. Not what I was taught love is supposed to look like. What kind of relationship would allow me to be fully myself? I made a video about this - not because I have figured out the "right" way to have a relationship, but because I think it's worth questioning the model we've inherited. When Anthony and I met, we were both actually very drawn to a solo life. And then, like many very human beings, we fell in love. We also fell into some of the stories we had inherited about what love and marriage were supposed to look like. It took some time for me to notice the difference between what I genuinely wanted and what I thought I was supposed to want. What would your relationship look like if you were completely free to create it? I'd love for you to watch the video and then meditate on those questions for a little while. You don't have to change anything. Just notice what comes up ;) With Love, Yasmine
