🔥 *Can God call anyone He chooses to deliver His message—or have we sometimes placed limits on people that God Himself never placed on them?* Welcome to today’s Bible study in our quarter-long series, *The Gift of Prophecy**. Today’s lesson is **“Female Prophets and Young Pastoral Associates,”* and we’re studying **Luke 2:36–38 and Acts 21:9**. The New Testament gives us unmistakable examples of women who were given the prophetic gift. In **Luke 2:36–38**, we meet **Anna**, a prophetess who devoted herself to worship, fasting, and prayer. When Jesus was brought to the temple, she recognized something extraordinary: the promised Redeemer had come. She gave thanks to God and began speaking about Jesus to those who were waiting for redemption. Then *Acts 21:9* introduces us to Philip the evangelist’s **four unmarried daughters who prophesied**. These passages reveal an important truth about the gift of prophecy: *God determines whom He calls.* Age, gender, social position, and human expectations do not determine who the Holy Spirit can use. Anna was an elderly woman faithfully serving God in the temple. Philip’s daughters appear to have been young women. Different generations. Different circumstances. Yet God could work through them both. In today’s study, we’ll examine: 📖 What Anna’s life teaches us about spiritual faithfulness 🔥 Why Scripture specifically identifies Anna as a prophetess 🗣️ What Philip’s four daughters reveal about prophecy in the New Testament church 🙏 Why prayer, worship, and dedication matter in preparing ourselves for God’s service ⛪ How God used both older and younger believers in ministry ✝️ Why the focus must remain on the One who gives the gift—not the person who receives it One of the most powerful lessons here is that **God’s calling is not restricted by human expectations**. Anna spent years faithfully serving God before witnessing the fulfillment of His promise. Philip’s daughters were young, yet Scripture plainly tells us that **they prophesied**. The question therefore isn’t whether God can use someone. The question is whether we are willing to recognize the people **God chooses to use**. 💬 *ENDING QUESTION:* *If God chooses to speak through someone who doesn’t fit your expectations of what a messenger of God should look like, will you recognize the work of the Holy Spirit—or allow your traditions and assumptions to keep you from hearing the message?* Share your thoughts in the comments and join us each day as we continue studying **The Gift of Prophecy**. 📖 *Today’s Scriptures:* Luke 2:36–38 | Acts 21:9 📚 *Today’s Lesson:* Female Prophets and Young Pastoral Associates 🔥 *Quarter Series:* The Gift of Prophecy #Jesus #BibleStudy #Christian #Bible #Faith #Church #ChristianLiving #FaithJourney
