Golden Autumn — Isaac Levitan | 3 Hour Art Wallpaper 4K

Golden Autumn (1895) by the Russian painter Isaac Levitan (1860–1900) shows a quiet river bend lined with birches in full autumn colour. This 3-hour ambient video displays the painting full screen in 4K, with no distractions. It is meant for relaxing, working, studying or as a calm background on a TV or screen. About the painting: Levitan made the first sketches in autumn 1895 at the Gorka estate in Tver Governorate and finished the canvas in Moscow. Researchers believe the river is the Syezha, about half a kilometre from the estate. The oil on canvas measures 82 × 126 cm. Pavel Tretyakov bought it in May 1896 for 700 rubles, straight from the travelling exhibition. It is now in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
