The Hunters in the Snow — Pieter Bruegel the Elder | 3 Hour Art Wallpaper 4K

Three hours of Pieter Bruegel the Elder's The Hunters in the Snow (1565), shown full screen as a calm art wallpaper for relaxing, working, studying or decorating a TV. The painting is oil on panel, 117 × 162 cm, and is in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. It belongs to a series on the seasons or months, in the tradition of the Labours of the Months. Five panels from the series survive. Three hunters return from the hunt with their dogs, while small figures skate and play on frozen ponds in the valley below. The year 1565 is noted as the start of the harsh winters later called the Little Ice Age. The painting also appears in Andrei Tarkovsky's film Solaris (1972).
