Harlow Kincaid - Room Seven | Lonely Country Song (Lyric Video) #countrymusic #countryballs

Room Seven by Harlow Kincaid. A lonely country song by a female country singer about a quiet motel room and missing something you can't quite name. Room seven at the Lark Motel. One letter has burned out of the VACANCY sign and nobody is fixing it. Two pillows on the bed, and she only leans on one. The TV stays on low until the late shows are over. Supper is crackers and a soda from the vending machine in the hall. She got the freedom she wanted. She just didn't know it would be this quiet. She doesn't miss the man and she doesn't miss the town. She misses a voice saying "come here" when the lights go down. The rain taps on the window like it wants to come in, and she almost tells it the door's unlocked. Maybe somebody out there is sitting in a room just like hers, reading the same burnt-out letters in a different neon sign. So she leaves the chain off the door anyway, and keeps the other pillow for when the right one comes around. Room Seven is from the album Radio Up, Windows Down: twelve songs, one road, from the last drive past his house to a new start. Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/arti...
