Exodus 11 | The Final Plague and Midnight Judgment Announced | WTtW (NASB)

In Exodus chapter 11, the stage is set for the climax of the deliverance of Israel. God announces to Moses the tenth and final judgment upon Egypt: the death of all the firstborn at midnight, spanning from Pharaoh on the throne to the lowliest captive, and even the livestock. While Egypt faces an unprecedented cry of mourning, God establishes that not even a dog will bark against the sons of Israel, displaying how the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and His covenant people. As Moses leaves Pharaoh's presence in righteous anger, the chapter reveals that Pharaoh's defiance was never an obstacle to God, but the very platform upon which the Lord multiplied His wonders to proclaim His sovereign glory across the earth.
