Final Four! Crowning the Champion Single Barrel of the 2026 ‪@kybourbonfest‬

It all comes down to this. After four rounds of blind tastings, we’ve narrowed our 2026 Kentucky Bourbon Festival Single Barrel Challenge down to the Final Four — and this time, we’re crowning a champion. We started with eight of the best single barrel bourbons and whiskeys we found at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown, put them head-to-head completely blind, and let what was in the glass decide which bottles moved on. Now the winners are back for one final blind showdown. No hype. No labels. No price tags influencing the decision. Just nose, palate, finish and overall drinking experience as we try to answer one question: What was the BEST single barrel we brought home from the 2026 Kentucky Bourbon Festival? There have already been some big surprises in this tournament, and the championship round definitely didn’t make things any easier.
