A bright morning begins along the Mississippi River in late-1920s New Orleans. The first musicians arrive by the levee as dock workers begin another day. A clarinet drifts across the river, a woman comes down to the landing, and the steady sound of tuba, banjo and cornet follows the rhythm of the working waterfront. By noon, friends pause beside the cargo sheds, a little music fills the break between jobs, and a slow steamboat makes its way down the Mississippi. This is Louis Jazz Cafe Vol.029 — a musical morning along the New Orleans levee, inspired by the sound and everyday life of traditional New Orleans jazz. 🎺 Traditional New Orleans Jazz 🎷 Early Dixieland 🪕 Vintage 1920s Jazz 🚢 A Morning Along the Mississippi River Thank you for spending another day in old New Orleans with Louis Jazz Cafe.
