No music, no talking — just the real, unfiltered sounds of a Japanese tea ceremony (temae), recorded for the deepest immersion. Two lids, two sounds — a black lacquer tea caddy and a Kyoto ceramic water jar with its matching ceramic lid. asmr japanese tea ceremony no talking, recorded binaurally. This time I use a large black lacquer natsume (tea caddy) and a Kyoto-ware water jar whose lid is made of the same clay as the jar. Listen for the difference when each lid closes: the lacquer lid settles softly, the ceramic lid meets the jar with a clear, hard note. Now and then the floor and the walls of the room creak, and from the very beginning a cat is purring somewhere far away. No whispering, no music, no words. 🎧 This one is recorded binaurally. Headphones recommended. ▬▬▬ Sounds in this video ▬▬▬ ・The lid of a black lacquer tea caddy opening and closing ・The ceramic lid of a Kyoto-ware water jar ・The bamboo whisk in the tea bowl ・Water and hot water poured from the ladle ・The tea scoop wiped clean ・The floor and walls of the room creaking now and then ・My cat purring faintly in the distance ・Quiet room ambience, no music, no talking ▬▬▬ Chapters ▬▬▬ 0:00 Beginning the ceremony 0:36 A cat purring in the distance 2:28 Rinsing the whisk 4:03 Matcha into the tea bowl 4:20 Opening the water jar lid 4:48 Whisking the tea 5:43 Beginning to put things away 6:36 Rinsing the whisk again 7:50 Wiping the tea scoop 8:29 Adding water to the kettle ▬▬▬ About this channel ▬▬▬ Japan Quietscapes is a Japanese ambience and soundscape channel — real, original recordings from a tea ceremony room and from quiet daily life in Japan.
