What Makes a Great Melody? (Part V: Motivic cadences – or, How is music like a crossword puzzle?)

Motivic cadences are cadences in which the melody repeats a previous motive. I call these "mutliply-predicted events" and find analogies in things like rhyme, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles.
