Today's Devotional: When You Feel Like Giving Up “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (ESV) There are seasons when doing the right thing feels exhausting. You pray, you try to grow, you fight temptation, you pursue your goals—and sometimes it feels like nothing is changing. But God tells us not to give up simply because we don't see the results yet. Think about a farmer. He doesn't plant a seed one morning and dig it up that afternoon because nothing has grown. He waters it, waits, and trusts that something is happening beneath the surface. Your walk with Christ can be like that. Some of the most important growth in your life may be happening where you can't see it yet. Don't let a slow season convince you that God isn't working. Faithfulness isn't measured by how quickly you see results; it's measured by whether you keep following Christ. And remember who you're ultimately running toward: “Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.” — Hebrews 12:2 (ESV) You don't have to have everything figured out today. Just take the next faithful step. Prayer: Father, when I become tired or discouraged, remind me that You are still working even when I cannot see it. Give me endurance to keep following Christ when the road feels difficult. Help me not to measure Your faithfulness by my circumstances or emotions. Give me strength for today, patience for tomorrow, and a heart that refuses to give up on what You have called me to do. Keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. In His name, amen.
