I had never seen this akhara before, so when ‪@GyanIndianJori‬ brought me here I was impressed by the activity and atmosphere of the place. This akhara is specialised in the dumbbell swinging competitions, which is also known as 'Rumali'. They have a set of 54kg dumbbells there that are the heaviest used in competition. I got to try some of it here and play around with the different tools like the jori clubs, gada, and dumbbells. It located near the ghats in Varanasi.
